FORT COLLINS- We decided to focus on the hidden heroes here at Webber Middle School, and our first stop was the front office ladies.
Emerson and I went to the front office one day to find a lot of behind the scenes chaos!
“We open the doors at 6:55,” says Ms. Gray as she stands up from her desk.
I asked the front office ladies what they like to do for fun on a school day, and the answer was a bit surprising!
“We love to play songs and dance to pass the time,” they said.
“Oooohh, are we being interviewed?“ Ms. Hartman asked walking over to us.
“Yeah, it’s like Oprah over here!” Ms. Gray added.
Emerson and I asked them if this was their dream job. Ms. Gray told us that she always wanted to be a teacher. She was a teacher for a while, but when the job opened up, she liked the sound of “running” the school.
“Do you have any fun facts most of the students wouldn’t know about?” I asked the front office team.
“I’m in a band,“ Ms. Roberts shared. “I’m the singer. It’s like we’re a little family,” she continued.
Be sure to stop by the front office to say hello to and thank the fantastic five: Ms. Gray, Ms. Hontz, Ms. Roberts, Ms. Hartman, and Ms. Peebles! They do so much for our school and help make sure things run smoothly.
