The transition from elementary to middle school can often feel scary and overwhelming. Not only the transition but also choosing a middle school. There are all different things to worry about when moving from one school to another, but Webber’s staff is kind and welcoming. At Webber, there are so many different things that the staff do for you that will make the transition from elementary school to middle school easier.
One thing they do is they have what is called a transition day. This is the day before school starts for 7th and 8th graders when 6th graders come and start the day with a short assembly with the WEB Leaders and get to know the school. Then with the WEB Leaders, you get to play games and you get to practice walking your schedule. This means you get to go from class to class to know where things are at Webber.
The staff and students at Webber also work to make the transition to middle school as smooth as possible. WEB Leaders are 8th graders that help 6th graders transition from school to school. They will play games with 6th graders, leave notes for you, and make you feel at home at Webber. Also, at Webber, the staff members are kind and welcoming. This makes it easier to transition to Webber, because they will make Webber a place to be yourself.
I will not say that the transition from elementary to middle school is easy, but Webber makes it as easy as it can be. No matter where you go, the transition will be hard and overwhelming, but at Webber, it is important to the staff to make it as easy as possible for you.

I remember the transition, my WEB leaders definitely helped me become more acquainted with Webber. 🙂
