“Mom, dad, we were just wondering if you would like dinner?” Molly asked.
“Oh that would be great, me and your father were just discussing dinner,” Mom replied.
“Well, dinner is served,” Hope replied.
“If you would come with us, we will show you to your table,” Mary advised.
“Well ok, you show us to our table,” Dad insisted.
“Well then right this way,” Molly agreed.
Clink. Clank. Clunk.
“Wow, the staircase is loud,” Mom observed.
“Yeah, I should tighten up the bolts,” Dad advised.
“Your seats. Your servers will be right with you,” Hope insisted.
“Ok,” Mom answered.
“What are they up to?” Dad added.
“Ok here are your menus and is there something that you would like other than water?” Mary asked.
“No, I don’t think so,” Mom answered.
“No, thank you though,” Dad added.
“Ok, another server will be here shortly with your water.”
“Ok thank you,” Mom asserted.
“This is nice service,” Dad babbled.
“Yes, it is,” mom replied.
“Ok here are your waters, and are we ready or do you guys need another minute?” Molly asked.
“Um are you ready, honey?” Mom announced.
“I’m ready if you are,” Dad replied.
“Ok we are,” Mom said.
“Ok what would you like?” Molly asked.
“I would like the egg bagel sandwich with the yogurt parfait,” Mom replied.
“Ok and for you, sir?” Molly asked.
“Um I think that I am going to do the mini pancakes with oatmeal,” Dad asserted.
“And is everything on that ok for you?” Molly asked.
“Oh um, yes that all is fine.”
“Ok. Your food will be right out,” Molly asserted.
“Ok thank you,” Mom and dad said together.
“Ok this plan is going great,” Molly whispered.
“Ok what so they want?” Hope asked.
“Um egg bagel sandwich with yogurt parfait and mini pancakes with oatmeal. Mom wants an egg bagel sandwich with a yogurt parfait, and dad wants mini pancakes with oatmeal.”
“Ok, Molly, you get the oatmeal. Mary, you get the egg bagel sandwich, and I will get the mini pancakes. Molly or Mary, if one of you guys finish and the other two are still working, start on the yogurt parfait, ok?” Hope said.
“What if you finish and we are still working on out tasks and no one is working on the yogurt parfait? Will you work on it?” Marry asked.
“Yes, I will never do that to you guys. I just wanted to let you know what our tasks are,” Hope answered.
“Ok thank you,” Molly and Mary uttered together.
