There are many things to do in Colorado, especially in the summer. Some of these things include hikes and camping. Some of the most popular trails to hike include Hanging Lake Trail, St. Mary’s Glacier, Manitou Springs Incline, Garden of the Gods Loop, and Maroon Bells Scenic Loop trail. These are just some of the many hikes in Colorado. Colorado is known for its iconic Rocky Mountains. These mountains tower over the Great Plains with an astonishing height of over 14,000 feet at some places! With all of these mountains, there are lots of wonderful, beautiful, and exquisite places to camp out at. Some of these wonderful campgrounds include Horsetooth, Pawnee Buttes, and Red Feather Lakes. These are all stunning places to go camping in our wonderful state. Now, this isn’t in the summer, but in the spring, you can go white water rafting in our very own Poudre River! This time is the best to go white water rafting, because the water will be at the perfect levels and just the right speed. In Horsetooth Reservoir, you can also go paddle boarding! Something that is not up in the mountains is Eliches in Denver. Eliches is a roller coaster park, but it also has water slides! These are just some of the many things to do in Colorado in the summer, but they are some of the most fun.
