If you enjoyed the original “Saved by the Bell” 90’s TV show or know about it, I think you’ll enjoy this week’s suggestion! This week, I am suggesting the “Saved by the Bell” reboot from 2020. This show, which is on Peacock, has two seasons of funny one-liners and comedic plot! This story is about the characters from the old show’s children in high school, such as Zach’s son Mac, Jessie’s son Jamie, and more! The thing, though, is the protagonist, Daisy, her friend Aisha, and many other kids, are moving to a lavish, great school called Bayside from a low-funded and not as good school, Douglas. Throughout the story, Daisy struggles with the Bayside kids being more privileged, pretty much all of them being rich. Since they are rich, the characters get to make funny remarks about famous people like, “Oh, Lebron is calling,” “I have a Kardashian coming at lunch,” “I mean, my next door neighbor is Post Malone,” and things like that. At first, Daisy doesn’t like the school because of things like how lots of things are digital, and she is “Set up to fail” because she does not have a real phone. But after she makes friends because she gets a “Bayside buddy” to show her around, she soon becomes a member of their friend group, and the plot follows them and tons of things like comedy, drama, romance, and fighting for what is right. So if you enjoyed the funny and nostalgic original 90’s show, I think you’ll enjoy watching the Peacock reboot!

I like how it uses some of the old characters and is sort of the next generation.
