Did you know that putting salt on a grapefruit can make the fruit actually taste sweeter? This may sound weird, or gross, or like it would make it sourer (yes that’s a word), but it’s true. Putting salt on a grapefruit works, because salt actually weakens our ability to taste bitter things, making it easier for your taste buds to focus on the sweetness. Maybe you could try that when you’re in a sour situation!
