This week’s wisdom is a quote attributed to the famous Mahatma Gandhi.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world,” attributed to Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was famous for his non-violent protests. He was the change that he wanted to see in the world. He led India to freedom.
Sometimes you want to see a change in the world and you try to be it, but it is hard, because people sometimes don’t like the change you would like to see. It took Mahatma Gandhi 50 years before India was free.
When you start being the change you want to see in the world, it doesn’t happen right away. You have to keep trying before anything happens.
This week, try to be the change you want to see in the world. It won’t be easy but try anyways.
