This week’s wisdom of the week is a quote attributed to American poet Walt Whitman.

“Keep your face always towards the sunshine, and the shadows will fall behind you” -Walt Whitman.

This quote is a metaphor for maintaining optimism and a positive mindset. It focuses on the theme that if in hard times you focus on the good parts in life, the weight of negative experiences and difficulties will be diminished.

So remember that if there is anything you are going through, just know that there is always a light to look forward to.

What’s your favorite book? The Last of The Really Great Whangdoodles by Julie Andrews. What’s your favorite thing to write about? Fantasy worlds and historical fiction.
