Disappear: A Poem by Lucy Carr
Dear world, dear people out there, watch as humanity collapses. See the animals, see the sea, understand what this world means to you and me. Understand that over here, over there, it seems as if nobody understands the world that is evolving, spinning, changing, dying. All around you are opportunities to save the beauty and the despair. To move on but always remember the world that you came from, the place that you once saw but it disappeared. Watch it disappear but do nothing. Or, do something, move the ocean, move the mountains. Watch them disappear but be happy you tried.
