Peter Green was a famous guitarist/musician born on October 9th, 1946 in East London, and died in his sleep on July 25th, 2020. Peter was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the mid-1970s. Schizophrenia is a range of problems with thinking (cognitive), behavior, or emotions. Schizophrenia may result in hallucinations, delusions, and distorted thinking. He was then sent to a psychiatric hospital where he underwent electroconvulsive therapy, which delivers small electric currents to the brain.
