That’s right. The famous club run by Mr. Schroeder is starting up again. Not sure if you should join? Well, leave this to us. We’ll be talking to some people who are in leadership positions and hear what they have to say about this amazing experience. First, we have a student member Henry, Satellite PM.
Beckett: Why do you like WAVE?
Henry: I like WAVE because it is a good experience to have and grow your skills. For example, I was part of the Flight Academy team, which helped me learn the basics of flying a plane.
Beckett: Why would you like to recommend others to join?
Henry: I think people should join WAVE because it builds your experience, it helps you with team building skills, and it shows you how to make something out of nothing.
Beckett: What teams would you recommend people join?
Henry: The three teams I would like to recommend are Rover, Flight Academy, and Satellite. Firstly, the Rover team because you learn how to make and program lego robots, which is pretty cool. Next up we have Flight Academy, where you learn how to fly a simulated Cessna, using high quality instruments, which makes the simulation all the more real. And finally, Satellite. In Satellite, you will make satellites that carry cargo out to the space shuttle using a high tech launch system. Your satellites will also be tested by the wonderful Mr. Schroeder the expert satellite demolitionist. Overall, WAVE is a very fun experience and you should join.

Jackson: Have you ever wanted to be part of the leaders for your team but at the moment the interviews are shut down? Well you are STILL able to be a leader for your team! (You don’t even have to do an interview!) Here are the steps. First, find out who your project manager will be, as these roles are per team. Second, talk to them if you want to be a commander (the project manager during the W.A.V.E. event itself). Third, if they say no, then your answer is a no. Please do not harass or have bad opinions about the project manager if they decline.
